Why do people keep making email apps that exclude users who dont want their privacy violated by large corporations and prefer to use self-hosted IMAP accounts?

Switched from cloudmajic, push works, custom sounds, unified inbox, attachments, free, gmail and yahoo and icloud all push. The unified inbox is awesome! The layout is awesome! This app is awesome! Deleted cloudmajic...

Using this app make me glad to have more working with email. I spent my time more than ever in my mail box. But some updates can help for better working. Such as associated with other practical apps. Thanks Hopflow!!!

I truly love a simple app. So far no problems, just an all around great idea.

Very neat design and usability.

I have been looking for the right email app since a while now and I finally got it! I love the group email (chat) and FYI mail separation, so much easier to separate out the noise. I also like the quick action swipes to mark it read/l, delete it or snooze it for later. In the next version, I would like to see an ability to quickly fw an email via the swipe feature to a pre defined Email with a custom message and 3rd party integration (e.g. Wunderlist for to-dos)

Love the app overall, but have a few complaints. It seems like syncing is a little wonky right now, hop will show 2 notifications, but when I click on the app and open it up it takes a good 5 seconds for those two emails to show up. Second, I wish I could disable the "trash this one or all X" message. Sometime I want to trash something, but not every message.

Hop is a fast, fun way of chatting using one or all current email accounts! Try it and you wont want to use any other chat program. Believe it or not, I rarely rate apps but had to share about Hop.

Great for emailing friends, as it puts everything in a neat, simple chat format. It is however, a bit glitchy.

Installed it, ran it, found it didnt support my mail system (gmx but hey no generic IMAP?), deleted it. Pity, looked interesting.

For what I do it is the perfect replacement for the gmail app. The best function for me is the ability to easily delete entire threads. Havent really used the instant messaging part but eventually Ill get there. Keep up the good work!

I never write reviews, but as someone who works with hundreds of clients on a daily basis, this app is perfect and effective for real time communication. It doesnt feel like Im sending emails anymore, but engaging directly with the customer. Made for anyone with a sense of doing business in the future. Not recommended if youre sharing links with friends and Facebook notifications. This app is best for business sales.

This is a GREAT APP! I can send actual PDF/Jpg files. I can send a google map of the location of my choosing. It also puts all emails from a certain sender in one window!

Not only will this change your mail behavior, it will change the way your mailbox folders are presented in your Apple Mail on your computer. And when you ask for help you will only get "smart alec" replies.

I think i really like this app, because its very simplely to use. But, it should be updated the interface for professional. Be a good app now and forever. Thanks!

HOP needs an upgrade to compete with the likes of MailTime, Google Inbox and even the latest offering from Readdle - Spark. There are lots to like about this email, but at the same time a lot of nuances. A few items hopefully the developer will note: • google drive support (other than going through iCloud/Locations) • Microsoft one-drive support • loaded emails need to link to the Inbox only; not the archive/all mail folder. • better distinction in sender name in the chats view. To often I could not tell who or whom was part of a conversation • better separation between chats (i.e. bring back the transparent separation line) • IOS share extension is needed • ability to snooze chats and emails for later. Get rid of the couch folder - stupid. • a new compose email screen and options. Way to limited in space. • print to/save to PDF. • save to/from cloud service • a new app icon is hugely needed. Something more polished and grown up please • somehow incorporate starred/pinned emails. If you star an email in gmail (or iCloud) there is no way to see it within HOP. • flow of app needs polish all around.
